There is ONE mistake real estate agents all over the country repeat on a daily basis… Don’t repeat it!

There is one biggest mistake I see agents everywhere repeating again and again: They get a lead and instantly start so show homes.

What do they forget about? Connecting with the client about what this client is searching for after all. There are three reasons why buyer consultations can help you and your buyers immensely!

1) Set expectations: Setting clear expectations with your client means sitting down and going over the home buying process and the timeline involved. Be the professional, set that appointment!

2) Take over control: Instead of the client telling you what to do and when, you are taking control by being the professional and not showing homes before you have a clear picture of the buyer's needs and all paperwork is signed.

3) Get on the same page: You don't want to just be a door opener, you want to connect with this person on a deeper level to truly find the best house for them and help them into a new chapter in life. Learn more about your buyers, their motivation and establish that relationship.
